We had the pleasure of capturing the magic of Unique Movers, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching dance and movement to children and young adults of all abilities using positive reinforcement. The event was a beautiful showcase of how dance can bring joy and inclusivity to everyone, regardless of their developmental, physical, or behavioral challenges.

Unique Movers, founded in June 2018, was inspired by the founder’s brother, Robby, whose love for music and dance illuminated their lives. The organization’s mission is to create a relaxed and inclusive dance environment where everyone can experience the therapeutic benefits of movement.

Director/Photographer Brian Thomas documented the energy, smiles, and pure joy of the participants, highlighting the impactful work Unique Movers is doing in the Tri-state area. From New York City to Philadelphia, they have been spreading smiles and building a community united by the love of dance.
